ACCIONs General Assembly: election of the new office for the 2010-2012 period

During the annual General Assembly (GA) of ACCION, which was held on Friday June the 18th at the Lastarria Observatory, was unanimously approved the financial report of the outgoing office, managed by Álvaro Ramis and the new administrators were elected for the next two years.

Were elected:

Pascual Martin, of CENDA José Aylwin, Observatorio Ciudadano Puga Rosario, La Morada Miguel Santibanez, JUNDEP Liberona Flavia, Fondation TERRAM Gamboa Andrea, ECO Salas Veronica, TAC. As substitute adinistrators were elected Adolfo Castillo, Libertades Ciudadanas and Rolando Jimenez of MOVILH.

The reporters of these workshops were presented to the members at the beginning of the GA; their conclusions and recommendations form a kind of mandate for the new office. After the presentation of the annual report for period 2008-2010, the outgoing office led a reflection on its management and on the challenges which the office recently elected will have to face, in the new political context. This GA was also the opportunity to welcome and to present three new NGOs having presented their admission request to ACCION: EPES, Educación Popular in Salud (popular education in health), the NGO Espacio there Fomento and the NGO Tremonhue (place of cure). The GA also elected for this new period the members of the ethics and action commission. This commission will, with two external members who will quickly be nominated, continue the installation, broadcasting and application work of the ethic action code. The commission remains composed of: Mark Gay action Becerra, Alejandro Salinas del Canelo de Nos, and Rosary STANDS Bracelet. Finally, the present members shared a meal with the outgoing and coming in offices in a brotherly and enthusiastic atmosphere.
